Video Content
Fascinated by the harmony between sight, sound, and emotion that film can capture, I started with an interest in the behind the scenes of TV and film in middle school, then taught myself (credit to YouTube and a lot of trial and error) to edit and film from there. Since high school, I have developed my experience and love of visual art through church media teams, my university classes, personal work, and a video marketing internship. Since college, I've been involved with the marketing department filming events and editing YouTube advertisements that have received over 300k views, and helped produce on a commercial that aired on Fox Sports 1.

I worked on the edit for this, whittling through many minutes of interview content for the final cut.

Rady Children's Hospital Commercial
Roles: Production Assistant, Actor, Assistant Production Designer
Description: Over the course of several days, we captured various scenes both in a studio and on location at the hospital to make a slate of three commercials. Collaborating closely with Rady Children's marketing team, we aimed to bring a hopeful and inspiring vision to life for their Holiday season campaign, Light the Way. These commercials aired on Fox Sports 1 on Thanksgiving Day 2024.

Chasing Sunsets ~ Surf Team
Roles: Drone Operator + Videographer
Description: This video was created to highlight the success of the PLNU Surf Team. I helped with the logistics of brainstorming this video and finding talent. During production, I assisted with the surf shoots and operating the drone for the aerial shots.

Description: This is a commemorative video for the recently retired president of PLNU. Including statements from California Senator Toni Atkins, Padres CEO Erik Greupner, and CEO of the SD Chamber of Commerce Jerry Sanders, I was able to film the interview with Padres CEO on the Petco Park field in San Diego.

Description: This was the first video of a new PLNU playlist series with the goal of sharing the unique advantages that PLNU's San Diego location has for students. This video focused on the Business Department, highlighting the networking and internship connections with SD businesses. This series concept was entirely imagined and produced by myself.

Description: This video takes a deeper look into the mission of the College of Health Science at PLNU told by professors and students in the department. With over forty-five minutes of interview footage from the initial video shoot day, this video proved to be quite the challenge in editing.

Description: Inspired by a thank you letter written to Point Loma Nazarene University by a graduating senior reflecting on her four years, I worked with the university's marketing department to create a video highlighting this student's experience through Covid-19, online classes, and great friendships.

Heaven On Earth
Roles: Assistant Producer + Editor

Description: Inspired by the mystery and hope of Heaven, me and two other students created this film with the intent of sharing a glimpse of the beauty in Creation and faith of Believers on Earth. What started as a project for an upper-division university production class transformed into a short documentary that explored Heaven through various testimonies, breathtaking nature, and an array of abstract editing techniques.

Description: This was a several month long project collecting interviews from PLNU athletes and school-spirit representatives plus footage from basketball, baseball, and other sport practices. I attended the majority of filming shoots as a videographer, assistant interviewee, and lighting and audio support.

Description: Serving as a virtual informational tour of the Liberty Station campus at Point Loma Nazarene University, this video highlighted the nursing program resources. I was involved as the editor, communicating with the PLNU marketing department about branding and stylistic requirements.

Description: Highlighting the reunion, 5k run, Pat Barrett concert, reunion, and the men and women's homecoming basketball games, I was able to shoot several events from the weekend and ultimately edit the full recap video.

This full week recap played at SeaWorld San Diego.

Description: Half of my freshman year of college spring semester was spent creating this action short film on a $20 budget. Alongside three classmates in my Intro to TV and Film class, we produced Data Breach, winning Best Fiction, Best Cinematography, Best Edit, and Best Intro Film from all PLNU's student made films for Spring 2023.
